MKS Promenade Ezy Pedal - Titan
The MKS Promenade Ezy a modern take on a classic pedal design.
Using replaceable shaped alloy cage plates and an alloy pedal body, the Promenade Ezy saves about 40 grams from comparable pedals such as the Sylvan Stream. The shaped cage plates provide extra strength for powerful riders, and has a low and wide tooth profile with rounded corners.
The Promenade EZY is built around our hand adjusted Cup and Cone bearing system, which provides serviceability that’s uncommon in today’s “designed for the dump” products.
• For a slightly larger platform the UB-Lite adds a U-shaped one-piece cage plate that also protects the pedal body if the bicycle falls over.
The Ezy system allows for safe, rapid, and tool less removal of pedals for travel, storage, or flexibility. Particularly popular as an upgrade for folding bicycles, those who take their bikes on mass transit, or travel bikes with coupler systems MKS pedals equipped with the Ezy system can dramatical improve ride quality while saving space.
To use the Ezy pedal simply remove the yellow retaining ring, and pull back on the collar that's attached to the crank arm to release or install the pedal.
The stopper must be fitted. If the stopper is not installed the pedal attachment is incomplete.
Without the stopper the adapter can break, or the pedal may fall off resulting in serious injury.
The PROMENADE is also available with a standard 9/16th axle.
