Super lightweight fabric. Tailored details, buttoned collar, six pockets: a tailored lightweight jersey. The material of this jersey is lighter than any race jersey ever used. It can’t be used by racing teams because it can't be printed upon, and therefore can't carry a sponsor’s name, colours or logo. The 1.21 Jersey is available in two colourways: Ashley Blue and Inner Space.

TAILORING
We've given the jersey a more tailored cut, darting the front panels and sharpening the shoulder’s edge, a shape more akin to a shirt rather than a T-shirt. The collar is buttoned, giving the jersey a higher and more substantial neck and so making it look sharper and a little bespoke. There is a collarbone button to fasten the collar flap if you decide having it buttoned up is unnecessary. The storm flap pocket on the front big enough to carry a phone.

UTILITY
The central rear pocket is designed to carry a 1.61 Rocka Jacket, and the stitching on all the pockets is reinforced in order to cope with the occasional times they're stuffed full. There are two mesh pockets on the interior rear of the jersey to carry warmers if needs be – when racing we'd often stuff unwanted clothing up the inside of our jersey, and this is a more refined version of that.

BEST OF BOTH
Apart from being incredibly light the 1.21 Jersey also benefits from a small amount of wind resistance; giving it the best of both worlds. Most surprisingly, especially considering this hasn’t been designed with racing in mind, it is very fast – faster than most specialised aero jerseys in fact. As the old saying goes, you can take the jersey out the race, you can’t take the racer out the jersey...

FIT
The fabric used for the 1.21 has slightly less elasticity than normal cycling jerseys. It is for this reason it is darted down the front panels in order to accommodate the properties of the fabric yet keep a fitted shape. Your chest measurement will be the fit of the jersey, yet be aware it will be fitted with little forgiveness, so if you have any doubt up-size e.g. if you measure 40" chest then purchase a 41.
